Back Office Supervisor
Our client, a service company providing services to an FX start-up, is currently seeking a Back Office Supervisor to join its growing team. The Back Office Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing global account opening, funding operations, and back-office activities, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and efficiency across all processes.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the global account opening and funding team, including quality control of trading account openings, funding processes, and customer service activities
- Continuously analyze departmental activity, payment systems performance, suspicious activity, and adherence to KYC and AML procedures
- Implement operational protocols, productivity standards, quality controls, and customer service standards; conduct audits and support team managers in daily inquiries and issues
- Liaise with senior management to support decision-making for back-office operations and the setting of strategic goals
- Review and/or formulate internal policies and ensure their effective implementation within the department
- Oversee the procedures for customer account establishment, maintenance, and closure
- Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve operational issues
- Monitor and approve workflows, enhance internal systems, and propose more efficient operational procedures
- Assist in training relevant staff to ensure ongoing competence in line with CySEC, FCA, ASIC, and FSCA regulations
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on funding activity and provide recommendations for improvements to senior management
Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- CySEC Advanced qualification will be considered an advantage
- Excellent command of English and Greek languages
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced Excel skills will be considered an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and a target-oriented mindset
